The Glow Room was founded by Sophie in 2022. After years working for the NHS while raising a little one with additional needs, she craved more flexibility – but her passion for helping people feel good was as strong as ever. Having battled acne throughout most of her twenties, Sophie had always been drawn to the skin and beauty industry. One training course was all it took to inspire a complete career change.

Within a year, she left the NHS and her spare room behind to open The Glow Room’s first premises full-time. With further training, masterclasses, and research, Sophie’s passion for all things skin truly took centre stage. Ellie soon joined the team, taking on all beauty services so Sophie could focus solely on skin treatments. Known for her flawless brows and lashes, Ellie’s attention to detail and skill have made her a trusted name locally.

Just six months later, The Glow Room had already outgrown its first space, leading to the beautiful, indulgent, and relaxing location you know today. With the move came treatment expansions, further education, and a growing team. Abi, our Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Prescriber, joined with years of NHS experience, supporting Sophie’s existing treatments and introducing new services such as anti-wrinkle injections and cryotherapy. Her professionalism, precision, and medical expertise ensure every client is in the safest hands.

We are also proud to be the home of Lashes by Zoe – a dedicated lash artist offering a fully personalised service for each client. Her kindness, attention to detail, and perfectionism are always appreciated.
