We’re delighted to be welcoming UK Astronomy, based in nearby Milton Keynes, for a special Planetarium Day on 28 August. Step inside the immersive dome and journey through the stars in a fascinating experience designed to spark curiosity in children and adults alike. With two different shows to choose from, it’s a unique opportunity to experience the wonders of the universe without leaving Buckinghamshire.

Families can also be among the first to discover our brand-new Pug in a Pickle mystery trail, helping a rather forgetful four-legged friend solve the mystery of his missing name while exploring the magnificent State Rooms. Meanwhile, our popular Secrets of Stowe and Rooftop Tours continue throughout the summer, offering rare behind-the-scenes access and spectacular views across the estate.

As September arrives, Stowe House returns to guided tours during term time, making it one of the loveliest seasons to visit, with warm golden afternoons, fewer crowds and our knowledgeable volunteer guides bringing the House’s remarkable stories to life.
