Manor Beauty opened its doors in January, breathing new life into what was once Brackley’s legendary DIY shop. Behind the transformation is Shana, whose journey in the world of hair and beauty began at a very young age.

Growing up in London, Shana spent her childhood sweeping floors in her grandmother’s and aunties’ salons – and it was there that her passion for the industry first took root. By the age of 16, she had left school to pursue formal training at Banbury College, where she spent three years earning her qualifications.

In 2004, Shana opened her first salon in Banbury, Oxfordshire. Just two years later, she sold the business to focus on raising her family, continuing to work from home and offering mobile beauty services. Her career has since taken her around the world – from the luxury of Whittlebury Hall to cruise liners, and even managing a spa in Paphos.

In 2021, Shana co-owned a popular salon in Brackley, eventually selling her share in 2023. Returning to her home salon, her business continued to flourish – ultimately leading to the birth of Manor Beauty.

Since opening earlier this year, the salon has gone from strength to strength and is now home to a talented team of four practitioners, bringing together an impressive 75 years of combined experience.

Today, Manor Beauty stands as a testament to Shana’s lifelong dedication, passion, and experience in the hair and beauty industry. The welcoming team look forward to greeting clients old and new, helping everyone feel their absolute best.

As the Clinic Director, Shana brings 25 years of experience in the beauty and skincare industry. Her passion for skin health and aesthetics remains as strong today as when she first began her career. Known for her innovative approach and commitment to excellence, Shana continually raises the standard of care and ensures every client enjoys a personalised, transformative experience.

Lucy – Aura Aesthetics

Lucy is an accomplished Advanced Beauty Therapist, specialising in HIFU and advanced facial treatments. After initially qualifying as a beauty therapist, she took time away from the industry to explore other ventures and raise her family. Her love for skincare brought her back with renewed passion and expertise. Calm, attentive, and skilled, Lucy creates a truly relaxing experience that leaves clients feeling refreshed and confident.

Phoebe – PDR Cosmetics

Phoebe is a lash and aesthetics specialist, known for her flawless results and meticulous attention to detail. Over the past three years, she has built a loyal client base and is consistently fully booked. Passionate about innovation, Phoebe regularly undertakes advanced training to bring the latest beauty techniques to her clients, ensuring everyone leaves feeling their absolute best.

Natalie – Nurse Practitioner

Natalie brings 24 years of nursing expertise and four years specialising in aesthetics to the Manor Beauty team. Alongside her aesthetics work, she continues to serve as an NHS Ward Sister three days a week, bringing a wealth of clinical knowledge and patient care. Natalie holds a Level 5 Aesthetics Diploma, is a qualified Clinical Educator, and is currently completing her Master’s degree. Combining medical precision with a warm, reassuring approach, she ensures clients are always in safe and expert hands.
