I am an animal lover who enjoys spending time in the great outdoors.  After taking early retirement from nursing in the Emergency Department I started walking friends’ dogs and the next thing I knew my passion turned into reality with Happy Tails with Sarah in 2016.

I have experience and the expertise to care for all dogs no matter what their size and age from Dachshunds and Chihuahuas to Belgian Malanois and St Bernards. Big or small I care for them all.  I have experience with pets with disabilities, such as blindness, deafness, diabetes, cancer and mobility issues etc.

As a retired nurse, I’ve studied academically all my life gaining an Upper Second Class Honours Degree in Adult Nursing and a First Class Honours Degree in Paediatric Nursing.

I am canine first aid certificated. In case of an emergency, you can rest assured your pet is in safe, capable, caring hands.
