For many years now, we at St Peter’s Church have run a toddler and baby group for the Brackley community called First Steps, which takes place every Thursday during term time in our church hall (9:15–10:30am).We understand how stressful raising young children can be, and how helpful it is to meet others at a similar stage of life.According to the Family and Childcare Trust, 21% of parents with children under five often feel a lack of companionship, and a significant 76% feel left out at least some of the time.

Parenthood, while incredibly rewarding, can also be isolating—but it doesn’t have to be.
