Red Lion

Welcome to a fresh new chapter at The Red Lion, Brackley

The Red Lion in Brackley has opened its doors once again following a refurbishment that has transformed the pub both inside and out. Now under new management, the much-loved local has
been given a fresh new lease of life, creating a welcoming space for friends, families and visitors to
enjoy great drinks and a vibrant community atmosphere.

Reopened on 11th June by owners Oak Taverns, The Red Lion is now a Freehouse and is the group’s 19th pub, joining their growing estate across the South of England.

Inside, drinkers can now choose from six rotating real ales, many from local breweries, craft beers, and plenty of wines and spirits. Outside there’s a generous sun terrace, and a very large beer garden, plenty of space to make the most of the summer. The pub hosts regular street food vans, and the team have promised a calendar of events coming soon to keep the community coming back.
Quizzes, live music and various clubs and classes in the pub’s function room, from painting to pottery.

The reopening comes hot on the heels of recognition for Oak Taverns at the Publican Awards, where the group picked up the title of Best Pub Community Operator, a fitting endorsement as the Red Lion settles into its new role as a hub for the Brackley community.

With its refreshed look, expanded ale selection and growing events programme, the Red Lion looks set to become a firm favourite for locals old and new.
