It is a great honour and privilege to serve as Brackley Town Mayor for 2026/27. Brackley means a great deal to me and my family, and I am incredibly proud to represent the town over the coming year.

I first came to Brackley in 2006 through my work at Honda F1. It did not take long for my wife and I to realise what a special place this is, and we soon chose to make Brackley our home and the place to raise our family. The town’s strong sense of community and welcoming atmosphere continue to make it somewhere we are proud to live.

My involvement with Brackley Town Council began in 2018 when I attended my first council meeting as a resident. The commitment and passion shown by local people for the town and its future inspired me to become more involved, and I was proud to join the council as a councillor in 2019. Since then, I have learned a tremendous amount from fellow councillors, council staff, volunteers and residents. 

Putting on the mayoral chain for the first time was a very special moment and a reminder of the responsibility that comes with the role. I will do my very best to follow the excellent example set by my predecessor, Cllr Bernie Tiller.

One of the things I value most about Brackley is the people who give their time to support others and help bring the community together. So much of this work happens quietly and without recognition, yet it plays a huge part in making Brackley such a welcoming and supportive town. 

I look forward to meeting many more of you and working together over the year ahead.
