The Lounge Cafe Bar is a Brackley based business owned and operated independently by a Brackley local.
The proprietor (Richard) has been a Brackley local for 10 years and wanted somewhere a bit different to go out to in Brackley both for some daytime food and to relax and drink cocktails with friends in the evennings. His vision was somewhere chic, trendy, relaxing, welcoming and not pretentious, a venue that wouldn’t feel out of place in a major city such as London or Birmingham.

The old Hummingbirds building was identified a good few years ago as a potential candidate for the vision to become a reality, the split floors, large front windows and quiet Courtyard ticked all the boxes! The Hummingbirds owners Tracy and Nicky were approached one Saturday after an amazing breakfast was finished off and the negotiations started.

March 8th was the date we took over the premises and a full renovation began that took 5 weeks, we had amazing support from local trades, a special mention to ASAR construction and also to Littlewards Decorators who provided an amazing service.
The Lounge Cafe Bar had its soft opening on Saturday 16th April when it opened to friends and family. The journey had begun and we hope to offer Brackley and surrounding areas somewhere a little it bit different to come and enjoy their time.
